Preben Strøm

Preben Strøm is Managing Director of Energy Valley, a national cluster of technology and Norwegian Centre of Expertise (NCE) for energy technology based on the world-leading engineering and technology expertise in the larger Oslo region. The cluster’s mandate is to accelerate the energy transition through innovation and co-operation and create new jobs, new technology and strengthen Norwegian exports.

Prior to joining Energy Valley in 2013 he spent 10 years in the oil service industry. He is a board member I Mechatronics Innovation Lab, head of Bærum Commercial council, member of University of South-Eastern Norway’s council for co-operation with private sector and Secretary for World Energy Council Norway.
